Heuer Carrera 3647 T

excellent condition - Valjoux 92 - red tachy

Description
This Heuer Carrera 3647 T features the first execution silver dial with two sub-registers and a red tachymeter scale. This watch is also called "manual wind Carrera" as it features the manual wind movement Valjoux 92. This model was produced for a relatively short period in the 1960's. In 1969, it was replaced by the automatic Carrera. The manual wind Carrera is therefore one of the rarest models of the manufacturer.

The present watch is from 1966. The silver dial has a red tachymeter scale. At 9 o'clock is the sub-dial with the small second and at 3 o'clock the 45-minute counter of the chronograph. The dial is preserved without any defects and has intact and original tritium luminescent in the hour markers and hands.

The case has a thick profile and sharp edges. The winding crown is signed with the Heuer logo. The case back is screwed. The heart of this vintage wristwatch is the reliable manual wind caliber Valjoux 92. The movement has been checked by our watchmaker. All functions work smoothly.

This Heuer Carrera 3647 T is a sporty-elegant chronograph and a great vintage watch for daily wear. Due to its rarity and its excellent condition, this watch is a collector's item with a great potential.
