The Polerouter has a great historical relevance as it was developed for pilots to ensure timekeeping in the strong magnetic fields at the North and South pole. The watch has been designed by the famous swiss jewellery designer Gerald Genta.
Our Polerouter from the 1960s is a very special watch. Probably one of a kind. The green dial with diamond hour markers is in an absolutely mint condition. Date window at 3 o'clock. Dial is signed "SWISS MADE T". Whitegold case with ridged whitegold bezel is unpolished. The crown is signed "U". A very special part of this watch is the original, exotic whitegold Universal Genève bracelet, which can be detached with ease. The clasp is signed Universal Genève. Famous Universal micro-rotor calibre 1-69 with 28 jewels in original and perfect condition makes the Polerouter run, keeping good time.
This incredible, unique collector piece is definitely something for a person with good taste.
