Longines Diver Reference 7150-2 is a diving automatic watch from the 1960s, which went down in history because of its design and especially the innovative technical development. During diving the Super Compressor became more water resistant. The deeper the watch went the more pressure was applied to the caseback, pressing it more against the case.

The offered Diver with its Tropical dial is extremely rare and the most beautiful Diver example we have seen so far. "Cappuccino" dial with wonderful patina leaves an unforgettable impression and is very sought after by collectors. The 100% original lume has not been relumed and is still intact in the hands. The imprint "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock indicates Tritium as the type of lume used. The rotating internal bezel is absolutely perfect. The case shows few, natural signs of wear and is unpolished. The Diver has as most Super Compressors two crowns. The crown at 2 o'clock is used to rotate the inner bezel and at 4 o'clock to set the time. Both are in mint condition and have the original characteristic crosshatching. The Diver is fitted with automatic movement Caliber 290 by Longines.

All in all: a legendary diving watch with indisputable history and a possibly unique tropical dial.

Additionally the watch comes with the original Longines stainless steel bracelet in very good condition.
