A chronograph and a GMT complication combined in a watch, that looks incredibly sporty and not only tells time, but history - that is the Heuer Autavia GMT. All this comes in a sizable 40mm compressor case, with a "Pepsi" bezel to read the second time zone. The first Heuer Autavia Chronograph was introduced in 1962. The colorful GMT version of the Autavia was released in 1968. The name "Autavia" is a combination of two words: "Automotive“ and "Aviation“. The name was commonly used to dashboard clocks instrumentation in automobiles and aircrafts. The name is now best known for professional racing chronographs form Heuer.

The overall condition of this Heuer Autavia GMT 2446C Mark 3 is excellent. The stainless steel compressor case is in perfect vintage condition. The bezel is in outstanding condition with slight scratches at 6 o’clock. The pepsi colors of this particular Autavia 2446C GMT bezel are truly amazing. The red and blue colors are eye-popping, especially under sunlight and leave the observer completely speechless while looking at the watch. The beautiful reverse panda dial is in mint condition. The 100% original lume is still present in the hands and markers and shines beautifully under UV light. Some lume is missing in the hour hand. The three subdials are in top condition with slight black traces on the right subdial. The watch is powered by the mechanical manual winding movement Calibre Valjoux 724. It's rhodium plated and constructed with 17 jewels with an Incabloc shock absorber device that is perfectly suitable for motorsport activities.
