Heuer Carrera 2447 N

mint black dial - unpolished case

Description
Here's another unpolished Carrera from our event: "6 Unpolished Vintage Manual Wind Carreras" for the 55th anniversary of the Heuer Carrera.

"Carrera Panamericana" was one of the most (if not THE MOST) dangerous sports car racing, which was running from 1950 to 1954 on open roads in Mexico. The sports car manufacturer Porsche named its famous Carrera series and the Porsche Panamera exactly after this legendary race. Jack Heuer was inspired by the "Carrera Panamaricana" as well and gave the new Heuer model line the pleasant-to-listen name "Carrera".

The Carreras were produced with different dial designs, however the "all-black" variant (which is offered here) remained to this day the most sought after model. Like all Carreras offered as part of our "6 Unpolished Vintage Manual Wind Carreras" event, this Heuer Carrera 2447N also has an absolutely unpolished case with sharp edges. The dial has an absolutely flawless matte black surface, which appears like new. Considering the age of this watch, its condition looks pretty impressive. Additinally the watch is equipped with the classic vintage chronograph movement Valjoux 72. It is very difficult to dislike this beauty ...
