SoldDeveloped for professional divers, Rolex Sea-Dweller is the boss of all diver watches, revolutionizing the watch market with its performance and technology. The Sea-Dweller was able to dive deeper than any previously produced watch. Due to new developed helium valve the inner pressure in the watch could be diminished faster during the decompression and thus the breaking of the watch glass could be avoided, which was the case with the Submariners.
The reference 1665 with the 6.1 million serial number offered here is an early and rare MK1 version of the Sea-Dweller, which is also called "Great White" by watch experts. One special thing about this watch is the black, matte dial, which has been beautifully preserved and is absolutely flawless. The original lume has been completely preserved and discolored over the years to a light vanilla tone. The lume color is matching in the hands and hour markers. The black bezel looks very good and shows normal signs of wear. The Oyster case has retained its original shape and thickness. The original Rolex Caliber COSC 1570 runs flawlessly. The watch comes with its original Rolex Oyster bracelet in very good condition from the same time period.
Its rarity and condition make this Rolex Sea-Dweller very difficult to replace nowadays.
