The Rolex GMT-Master 16700 Pepsi with box and papers offered here is in excellent overall condition. Designed as an aviator watch, the Rolex GMT allows the display of an additional time, which was essential for Pilots, as they had to use the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) for all their activities up in the air. This fact gave the Rolex watch the famous name “GMT-Master“.

The reference 16700 was produced from 1988 until 1999. The dial as well as the stainless steel case of this Rolex 16700 is in a very good condition. The original creamy tritium lume is totally present in the markers and hands. It was integrated in the dial until the U-Series 1997. The pepsi bezel is in perfect condition with the red and blue color popping. The red part shows daytime hours while blue expresses the time at night. The watch has the original Rolex bracelet reference 78360 and 581B end links. The Rolex 16700 is powered by the original Rolex self-winding movement caliber 3175, which runs faultlessly, has a quickset function for the date and GMT indication.
