Nivada Chronoking Aviator Sea Diver

Stunning black matte dial in mint condition - Valjoux 234 movement

Description
Nivada was founded in 1879 in a small Swiss town called Grenchen. However, since the manufacturer celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1976, the year of foundation was later dated to 1926. The Nivada watches were distributed in the United States by the „Croton“ Company. There are watches signed Nivada, Croton or carrying the double signature Nivada Grenchen and Croton.

The black matte dial with tachymeter and date window at 12 o'clock is in mint condition. The 100% original creamy tritium lume is still present and shines beautifully in the dark. The contrast between the creamy lume color and the black matte dial color is stunning and turns a smile into every watchlovers eyes. The popping red chronograph hand is the dot on the i, that makes the watch very lively. The mirror subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock are especially nice and give the watch its beautiful look. It is powered by the excellent Valjoux 234, handwound mechanical chronograph movement with 17 jewels. The 38mm stainless steel case is in perfect condition. The 60-minute bezel is in good condition and is smoothly rotatable in both directions. The screw-down case back is in excellent condition as well.

If you want to wear a rare and cool vintage watch from the 60s with stunning design and great functionality in very good condition, this piece is definitely worth buying.
