This is a keeper: Vintage Rolex Datejust 1601 in 18k yellow gold with silver step dial and original guarantee card and the Time Rate Certificate from 1967. The Rolex Datejust has a timeless design and is a piece of remarkable watchmaking quality. Probably it will forever remain a respectable watch and never goes out of style.

This particular Datejust dates to 1967. The desired stepped dial is in excellent condition. The golden hour markers and hands on the silver sunburst surface harmonize wonderfully with each other. The 18k yellow gold Oyster case has been very well preserved and has few, natural signs of wear. The luminous material is indicated on the bottom of the dial: "T SWISS T" stands for tritium. The lume in the hands as well as every single tritium dot of the hour markers is completely intact. The fluted bezel, the golden twinlock crown and the caseback are in very good condition.

The documents from 1967 make this Datejust a real collector's item:
- the original guarantee card handed over to the buyer on November 28, 1967 (punched with the serial number)
- the original Time Rate Certificate (Watch Rate Certificate) of March 2, 1967 (punched with the serial number)
