Nowadays the Rolex Daytona 16520 (also called Zenith-Daytona) is in high demand. The owners enjoy the high market value of this reference and are hesitant to sell their watches. The market price for the "Zenith" Daytona seems to have only one direction - upwards. That's why we are very proud to once again be able to offer you a specimen of this beautiful chronograph from the 1990s.

A brief history: In 1988 Rolex launched the first automatic chronograph and the era of the Rolex Daytona 16520 began. This Daytona Series is also referred to as the "Zenith" Daytona due to the calibre 4030, which is based on the robust Zenith El Primero movement. 1999 was the last production year of Zenith-Daytonas, as in 2000 Rolex launched its own automatic movement.

Here we offer you a Rolex Daytona 16520 from 1996 in a full set. The original chronometer certificate is punched with the serial number and the country code 170 for Italy. This watch was sold to its first owner in December 1997 in Vicenza. The full set includes other accessories such as the original Rolex box, Rolex calendar 1996-1997 and the green leather card holder from Rolex.

The green Rolex hologram is still on the case back. Even the signed reference number 16520 is still visible. This indicates that this watch was rarely worn. Accordingly, the condition of the case is very good and authentic. The large, screwed Rolex Triplock crown and the screwed chronograph pushers ensure a waterproof case. The steel bezel shows the tachymeter scale up to 400 units per hour and is in great condition.

The beautifully preserved, white dial gives this Daytona a very harmonious and noble appearance. The black rings of the sub-dials provide an unmistakable contrast.

The Oyster stainless steel bracelet is in very good condition with natural signs of wear. The engraved numbers correspond to the era of the watch. Reference number of the bracelet 78390, end links 503B, clasp code Z8.

This Rolex Daytona 16520 with its full set is a rare and coveted find.
