Description
The Rolex Sea-Dweller is the undisputed king of dive watches. Here for sale the Reference 16660, also called "Triple-Six". The watch is from the 1982 and is offered in a full set.

Rolex Sea-Dweller was developed for professional divers and has revolutionized the watch market with its performance and technology. The Sea-Dweller was able to dive deeper than any previously produced watch. Due to new developed helium valve the inner pressure in the watch could be diminished faster during the decompression and thus the breaking of the watch glass could be avoided, which was the case with the Submariners.

The full set offered here has the original punched chronometer certificate. The watch was sold on October 13, 1984 in Thailand. The full set includes other accessories: green Rolex leather card holder, translation of the chronometer certificate, original Rolex inner and outer boxes. The inner box is solid wood construction covered in green tooled leather.

The watch is in great overall condition. The dial is immaculate. The tritium luminescent material has creamy color and is intact in every hour marker and hands. The black rotating bezel is perfect, the pearl at 12 o'clock is intact. Triplock crown is screwed-on. The Oyster case has been very well preserved and looks very authentic. The case back is engraved with "Original Gas Escape Valve" and "Rolex Oyster". The stainless steel bracelet has the reference 93160 and is in very good condition.

This Rolex Sea-Dweller 16660 is the legend of deep-sea diving. The very well preserved condition and the full set make it a very attractive collectors watch.
