Description
This Tudor 7169/0 Monte-Carlo Oysterdate with its massive steel case made by Rolex and funky gray dial is in great condition. The Monte-Carlo is the Rolex Paul Newman pendant from Tudor and therefore highly collectable. The second-generation Tudor chronographs appeared in 1971 and were produced until 1977. The watch got its nickname „Monte-Carlo“ due to the fact that their dials are designed in the style of a casino roulette wheel.

The watch is in a great overall condition. The grey exotic dial with orange highlights is perfect. The beautiful creamy lume is matching in the markers and hands. The luminous steel hands with black stripes are totally matching with the luminous markers. The orange chronograph second hand is eye-popping. The sub dials with its orange-white color are perfectly completing the roulette style of the watch. Additionally, the reference 7169/0 has a date at 6 o’clock. The beautiful black bezel is in top condition and is easily rotatable in both directions. The 40mm stainless steel case is in very good condition. The screw-down pushers and screw-down crown with the coronet on it give this watch a powerful look. The Monte-Carlo is powered by the manually-wound Valjoux 234 movement, which replaced the Valjoux 7734 movement of the previous Tudor chronographs. The watch comes with the original Tudor bracelet reference 9315 and 589 end links.

The Monte-Carlo 7169/0 is one of the nicest looking vintage chronographs on the market and it's a fantastic addition to any vintage watch collection. Compared with its Rolex Oyster Chronograph pendant, the Tudor Monte-Carlo is a real bargain.
