IWC Ingenieur 666 AD

first Ingenieur model - important watch - super condition

Description
The IWC Ingenieur Reference 666 belongs to the category of the most important watches of the last century. It was the first reference in the long line of the Ingenieur models and is today a sought-after and high-collectable watch. The Schaffhausen watch manufactory stands for mechanical precision, reliability and elegant design.

Here we offer the IWC Ingenieur 666 AD with date display from 1957. Among the early models of the reference 666, the variant with date display (reference 666 AD) is much rarer than the usual version (reference 666 A) without date. This particular example is in an excellent and completely original condition. The round hour markers have an authentic tritium lume, which was never repainted. Even the famous Dauphine hands are absolutely original and intact. The case is in top condition and has sharp edges (see pictures). The winding crown is signed.

This watch is driven by the automatic movement of caliber 8521 with a calendar module. It is the improved version of the «IWC Automatic» developed under the technical director Albert Pellaton. All functions work properly.
