Omega Seamaster 146.011 Bullhead

unique chronograph - produced for one year

The Vintage Omega Seamaster Bullhead was produced only for one year in 1969. That's why the Omega Seamaster Ref. 146.011 with about 600 produced pieces is one of the rarest and most sought-after vintage watches of all time. Not only because of its rarity, but also because of its unique appearance, this chronograph is so popular with collectors.

The nickname "Bullhead" comes from the asymmetrical case shape. The case is much thicker at the top than the bottom. The winding crown and the two chrono pushers are located at 12 o'clock. This unusual feature is the trademark of the Bullhead. The dial has a black inner bezel, which can be rotated in both directions with the crown at 6 o'clock. The watch features a small second sub-dial and the 30-minute chrono counter. The date window is at 3 o'clock.

For a watch to become a premium collector's item, it's condition must be of a very high quality. This Omega Seamaster provides an excellently preserved original condition. The case has a thick profile with sharp edges. Both crowns are original and show the Omega logo. The well-known Seamaster Seahorse is on the caseback. The golden-brown dial with its two sub-dials at 12 and 6 o'clock has been preserved without any imperfections. The luminous material in the hour markers is original and intact. The watch is powered by the manual winding caliber 930 and runs flawlessly in all functions keeping very good time.

The original Vintage Omega Seamaster Bullhead is a striking sporty chronograph that has a unique charm. In addition, this watch is ultra rare because it was only produced for one single year. The excellent condition of the offered example makes it a first-class collector’s wristwatch.
