Zenith Super Sub Sea A3736

mint condition - rare model - striking look

Description
This extraordinary Zenith Super Sub Sea A3736 is preserved in mint condition. The chronograph features a rotating inner diver bezel. The combination of a chronograph and a diver's watch is unusual and very rare.

The striking orange-black dial has a fresh summer look and is very popular with watch collectors. The orange Lollypop Chrono-Pointer gives an extra portion of coolness to the watch.

The condition of this vintage watch is almost unworn. The beautiful dial has survived untouched and is in immaculate condition. Original luminous material is intact everywhere. The stainless steel case is of course unpolished. The serial number is still very deep on the caseback, which is also signed with the NATO star. Both the winding crown and the crown for rotating the inner bezel are correctly signed with the NATO star.

This watch is powered by the reliable manual wound caliber 146-HP. This movement was the last manual wound movement by Zenith and was replaced in 1969 by the automatic El Primero movement. The watch is accompanied by the original Gay Frères bracelet with a diver's extension, original end links ref. ZG and Zenith-signed clasp. The bracelet is stamped with 1/69 (first quarter 1969).

The Zenith Super Sub Sea A3736 is a very rare vintage model. The mint condition of the present watch makes it even rarer if not unique on today's vintage market.
