SoldThis particular Autavia GMT has a low serial number 95.xxx, which makes this watch even more special. All other known versions of that model have the serial numbers in the format 100.xxx. This could be an indication that our example was one of the test versions. Another interest fact: the dial does not have the inscription "T SWISS" on the sub-dial at 6 o'clock, which is seen on other pieces.
The reverse-panda dial is absolutely perfect and has been preserved in mint condition. The luminous material is original and has a nice dark brown color. The 24-hour hand and the beautiful pepsi bezel make it possible to read a second time zone. The stainless-steel case has been preserved in a great condition and still has a thick profile. The engravings on the screwed caseback are clearly visible and sharp. The pepsi bezel shows rich colors. The bezel insert shows natural signs of age in some spots, which make this watch very honest and authentic.
The driving force of this chronograph is the coveted Valjoux 72 movement, which is equipped with an additional GMT module. The official name of this caliber is Valjoux 724. All functions have been checked by our watchmaker during a full service. Everything works perfectly.
