The Rolex GMT-Master is probably the most iconic travel watch with a second time zone. The very first model was introduced in the mid-1950s and had the reference 6542. Already in 1959, the GMT-Master 1675 was introduced. Rolex produced this legendary reference until 1980.
Here we offer you an early execution of the Rolex GMT-Master 1675 from 1965 with a glossy gilt dial. The stunning patina of the lume dots gives this cult watch a unique and pure vintage look. The tritium color of the hands and hour markers match perfectly. The red 24-hour GMT hand has a small triangle tip. The rotatable 24-hour bezel has beautifully faded colors.
A great overall condition of this vintage watch makes it even more valuable and rare. The Oyster case and bezel have few natural signs of wear. The dial is almost flawless. These early gilt GMTs are extremely hard to find, especially if you want to buy a well-preserved piece.
The movement is the Rolex automatic caliber 1560, which we have put through its paces. The watch is operating perfectly. An original Rolex Jubilee bracelet and a Rolex clasp accompony that GMT-Master. The case back is screwed and stamped inside with 4/64.
This authentic Rolex GMT-Master 1675 is a rare collector's watch and a true vintage icon.
