Heuer Autavia 1163 White Orange Boy

ultra-rare dial - tropical sub-dials - unique appearance

Description
This ultra-rare execution of the Heuer Autavia 1163 is nicknamed "White Orange Boy" for its white dial and orange accents.

In addition to its rarity, the tropical sub-dials make this watch so special. Those were originally black and now show a unique brown patina. This phenomenon is observed in many Autavias with this dial. The orange elements are present in the hands, hour markers and minute counter. The date window is at 6 o'clock.

In addition to the spectacular dial, the perfectly preserved case ensures an excellent collector's condition of this Autavia. The movement is the automatic caliber 12 from Heuer. It was the successor to the famous Caliber 11, one of the first self-winding chronograph movements. The present Autavia was recently serviced. The movement runs perfectly providing a very accurate time keeping.

The Heuer Autavia 1163 offered here is one of the rarest Heuer Autavias on the vintage market.
