This is the military diver's watch IWC Ocean Bund Reference 3529 in near NOS condition and comes with its original full set.
The history of this legendary wristwatch begins in the early 1980s, when IWC launched the divers watch Ocean 2000. Due to the reliability and robustness, the German Bundeswehr decided to equip their soldiers with this tool watch. As a result, IWC developed a military version of Ocean 2000 and named it Ocean Bund.
Each Ocean Bund has the word "BUND" and the unique supply number of the Bundeswehr on the caseback. In addition, other accessories such as the titanium bracelet were marked with the corresponding numbers. Other differences to the civilian version were the orange minute hand and the flat sapphire crystal. The civil Ocean 2000 had a white minute hand and a domed watch glass.
The present Ocean Bund is the Kampfschwimmeruhr with the reference 3529. This example has been preserved in a nearly NOS condition. The case has no scratches and the dial is impeccably preserved. The black titanium bezel is also free of any scratches. The heart of this timepiece is the mechanical automatic caliber 37521. The movement also features a date quickset.
This IWC Ocean Bund 3529 is accompanied by an original full set:
- square black box with IWC signature
- black leather box
- IWC Certificate of Authenticity from 2012

- nylon velcro strap
