Description
This Vintage Heuer Verona 110.213N with a gorgeous black dial comes from the late 1970s and is powered by the automatic calibre 12.

The Heuer Verona was presented in 1978 and is one of the last mechanical chronographs made by Heuer before the manufacture went out of business due to the quartz crisis. While more colorful and oversized watches came onto the market in the 1970s, the Verona turned back to the clear and elegant design. The Heuer Verona was only offered for about 2-3 years and is therefore a very rare vintage watch, especially if you want to find a well-preserved specimen.

The Heuer Verona has a timeless and elegant design based on the Heuer Carrera. The black glossy dial has white markings, which ensures clear contrast and good legibility. The hour markers are longer compared to previous Heuer chronographs and match the hands design. The date window is at 6 o'clock.

The stainless-steel case measures 38mm and is slightly larger compared to the Carrera. The lugs are rounder and give the watch a harmonious look. Another interesting feature is the small notch on the left side of the case, which makes pulling out the crown easier.

This fantastic specimen has been excellently preserved both optically and mechanically. The black dial has a shiny surface and is in perfect condition. The case is very well preserved, but has been lightly polished in the past. The serial and reference number on the case back are still visible, but are no longer sharp. This chronograph is powered by the automatic caliber 12. The movement runs flawlessly and keeps very good time.
