Heuer Monaco 1133B NOS Full Set Sticker

Heuer developed the microrotor caliber 11 in 1969. It was the first self-winding chronograph movement. The Heuer Monaco was equipped with this legendary movement. Also, it was the first waterproof watch with a square shape. It is reported that fewer than 4,500 copies of the Heuer Monaco were produced between 1969 and 1974 in 11 different versions. About 40 years later, only a small fraction of the watches has survived, with most of the Monacos being in a worn-out and very used condition. The reference 1133B is the most popular version of the Heuer Monaco. This execution owes its fame to its famous owner Steve McQueen. The legendary womanizer, world champion and style icon very often wore this model on his wrist.

This particular Heuer Monaco 1133B has been preserved in a condition known in vintage jargon as NOS. "New Old Stock" is used to refer to vintage watches that were hardly or not worn at all since their first purchase. That makes this Heuer Monaco extremely rare. The watch has an unpolished stainless steel case that shows no signs of wear and still has the original Heuer sticker on the bottom. The flawless blue dial has original luminous material with a nice creamy color. The tritium dots near the hour markers have all remained completely intact.

This Heuer Monaco is powered by the caliber 12. It is the improved successor version of the legendary caliber 11. The watch is accompanied by the original bracelet from Novavit S.A. (NSA). NSA made bracelets for Heuer. This is the MK2 version of the bracelet and fits perfectly the time period of the watch. The buckle is signed with Heuer logo.
