Here we offer you a cool diver watch from 1971 - Eterna KonTiki 130 FTP.

Kon-Tiki was a journey by raft across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands, led by Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl. He wanted to prove that the settlement of Polynesia from South America was possible with the technical possibilities of the pre-Columbian Peru before the time of the Incas. At the time of the expedition, Eterna was one of the few brands that produced waterproof watches. All 5 crew members were equipped with Eterna watches. Therefore, Eterna named its model line KonTiki.

We would like to offer you a beautiful example of the Eterna KonTiki 130 FTP from 1971. The black dial has a beautiful chapter ring with orange accents. The creamy tritium lume has the same color in the hour markers and hands. The seconds hand is orange and has a tip in a shape of a diamond. The KonTiki has a trapezoidal date window at 3 o'clock. The wristwatch has a black bezel that can be rotated in both directions.

The stainless steel case has beautiful beveled lugs. On the caseback you can see a sailing ship with the Eterna logo. The serial number is still visible on the case back. The Eterna KonTiki is accompanied by an original Gay-Frères stainless steel bracelet from 1970. The clasp bears the Eterna logo and the engraving 4/70 (fourth quarter 1970).

The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 1489 K from Eterna. The movement is in perfect condition and provides very exact time keeping. The year of manufacture of the watch is 1971. This can be defined based on the movement number.

All in all, this Eterna-Kontiki is a beautiful sporty vintage wristwatch preserved in great overall condition.
