Universal Genève Polerouter Sub 869120/02 Green Bezel

sticker on the case back - perfect green bakelite bezel

This Universal Genève Polerouter Sub is a ultra rare execution of the reference 869120/02 with a green bakelite bezel. This 1968 Polerouter Sub is absolute unique due to its mint condition. Not only the razor-sharp case edges, but also the sticker on the case back proves that this watch was rarely worn. The otherwise so fragile bakelite bezel is in mint condition. The black dial is absolutely flawless and the original acrylic crystal still features the UG logo.

Overall, this watch has a very striking look. The stainless steel case, designed by the famous Gerald Genta, has an asymmetrical shape. This should protect the crown better. The black dial is very rich in contrast thanks to the large luminous markers and the striking orange minute hand. The watch has a date display attached at 3 o'clock.

The winding crown is screwed and bears the correct UG logo. The Polerouter Sub is powered by the in-house automatic caliber 1-69. The movement has been checked by us and is keeping very good time.

An exceptional design, mint condition and rarity make this Universal Genève Polerouter Sub 869120/02 a first-class vintage watch that will satisfy every discerning collector.
