This Submariner has a MK1 dial with L of Rolex under the coronet. The SUBMARINER text is as wide as the depth rates. At 6 o'clock you see "SWISS-T <25", which indicates the tritium lume. The dial of this Submariner scores with a very warm look that is created thanks to the patinated creamy lume. The tritium is original und fully intact in all markers and hands. The black dial surface is free of scratches. The black diving bezel can be turned in both directions and has an intact pearl at 12 o'clock. This Submariner is accompanied by an Oyster stainless steel bracelet with solid links.
The Submariner 1680 is powered by the 1575 automatic caliber, that is based on the caliber 1570 with an additional date module. Inside the movement you will always find the label of the base movement 1570. This movement has the "hacking seconds" function, which allows a more precise time setting. The movement of this particular Submariner operates perfectly and is keeping very good time.
This vintage Rolex Submariner 1680 is a "statement on the wrist" and a great watch to wear every day. A nice side effect is the excellent condition of this watch, making it a good investment.
