Here we offer you a Vintage Rolex GMT Master 1675 from 1979. This beautifully preserved vintage watch was sold on February 10, 1979 and is accompanied by original punched papers.

This GMT Master is one of the last executions of the reference 1675. In the early 1980s, the successor reference 16750 was introduced. The watch has a beautiful matt black dial, which is preserved without scratches or spots. The tritium lume is 100% original and has matching white color in the hands and markers.

The rotating Pepsi bezel of this Rolex GMT Master is a highlight. Firstly, it has uniquely faded colors, and secondly, the bezel is preserved absolutely flawless. The stainless steel case does not disappoint either. The profile has remained thick to this day and there are only a few natural signs of wear that make this GMT Master very honest.

The original punched papers of this watch make it a valuable collector's item. The date of sale and the name of the buyer are shown on the original chronometer certificate. The watch is also accompanied by a Rolex leather card holder and other accessories. A beautiful vintage Oyster stainless steel bracelet with just little stretch completes the offer.

The heart of this Rolex GMT Master is the automatic caliber 1575 with a GMT module, also known as 1575 GMT. Rolex often marked the movement bridges with the base caliber 1570, as with this GMT. This is not uncommon, because 1570 and 1575 are identical except for a few details. Due to its reliability and robustness, the caliber 1570/1575 belongs to the crème de la crème of automatic movements.
