Favre Leuba Sea Sky 33043

valjoux 72 - stunning design - bakelite bezel

Description
This exceptional chronograph dates from the late 1960s and is powered by the legendary Valjoux 72. The Favre Leuba Sea Sky 33043 was produced until 1973 and is a very rare vintage watch. What makes the Sea Sky so special is the big 43mm case, blue bakelite bezel and a colorful dial.

The design of the dial is just breathtaking. The yellow tachymeter scale looks cool on the gray-metallic surface and matches the color of the tritium lume. The subdials show a beautiful patina. The chrono second hand is red. The dial has been preserved immaculately and is free of any scratches or spots.

The blue bakelite bezel can be rotated in both directions and is greatly preserved. The case has sharp edges and only a few natural signs of wear. All engravings are still deep and clearly visible on the screwed case back. The winding crown is marked with the Favre Leuba logo.

The Favre Leuba Sea Sky is powered by the legendary manual wind caliber Valjoux 72. This movement features a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour totalizer and the small seconds. The Valjoux manual wind movement is one of the most reliable watch movements in the watch industry and is considered the mother of all chronograph movements. This watch has been checked and provides accurate values on the timing machine.
