Here we offer you a Breitling Unitime 1-260 from 1955. This attractive wristwatch has a 24-hour display with 24 cities, with each city representing a single time zone.

In the 1950s, intercontinental flights became possible for the civilian population for the first time. The major watch brands followed this trend and developed wristwatches that displayed the time in several time zones simultaneously. The most popular wristwatch with a 24-hour display is the Rolex GMT-Master, which was also presented in the 1950s. The Breitling Unitime World-Timer also has its roots in the 1950s.

Here we offer you the first execution of the reference 1-260. This wristwatch has an adorable vintage look. The silver dial features a mirrored world map in the middle. The flat stainless steel case measures 37 mm and sits very comfortably on the wrist.

The inner 24-hour ring rotates synchronously with the hands. The rotating bezel shows 24 cities around the world each representing a time zone. By aligning your current location and the time on the inner 24-hour ring, you can read the time in other 23 time zones on the same 24-hour inner ring.
