Since 1967 the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal has been part of the Formula One World Championship. In the early 1970s, Heuer named the newly developed chronograph after this city to emphasize the brand's close association with racing. The new Heuer Montreal 110.503 was significantly different from other Heuer models such as Carrera, Autavia or Monaco due to its case shape and dial design. The first version of the Heuer Montreal Ref. 110.503 was only produced for 4 years. There were three dial variations - black, blue and white, the latter being the rarest execution.

The colorful dial of this watch makes it a proud representative of the "flashy" era of the 1970s. The dial has a tachymeter and a pulsometer scale. The large cushion-shaped case has a diameter of 42mm. This particular example is in a pristine and beautiful overall condition. The white dial has been preserved without any scratches. The color of the luminous material has developed to a darker hue and gives this watch a real vintage look. The case surface still shows the original brushed finish.

The heart of this chronograph is the automatic caliber 12 from Heuer, which is in perfect working order. This Montreal is accompanied by an original vintage stainless steel bracelet. The folding clasp is signed and extendable by a small slider.

Based on our experience we can say that the first execution of the Montreal as offered here is very hard to find especially in good condition. In addition, the Heuer Montreal is one of the few Heuer vintage models, which were not reissued by TAG Heuer yet. This makes the Heuer Montreal an exclusive and special Heuer chronograph.
