Description
This vintage Lemania Bullhead reference 9601 is an extravagant chronograph from the 1970s. The watch is very rare and it is preserved in a New Old Stock (NOS) condition.

Lemania was one of the well-known manufacturers of chronograph movements that went bankrupt due to the quartz crisis of the 1970s. The Lemania movements can be found in many timepieces from the renowned manufacturers of the twentieth century. The movements are considered "bulletproof" among collectors. The caliber 930 of the Omega Bullhead from 1969 is also based on the Lemania movement 1872. In the early 1970s, Lemania decided to produce the Bullhead under its own brand name. Lemania used some prototype dials that Omega never installed in their watches. You can see one of these dials in the watch offered here.

The Bullhead's asymmetrical body design is extravagant and unusual. The winding crown and pushers are on the upper side of the case. The dial has a dark blue color and gray sub-dials. A white tachymeter scale is attached to the dial.

This particular watch is preserved NOS. The case is unpolished with razor-sharp edges. There are only a few micro scratches on the case. The dial is flawless with the original and intact tritium lume. The watch is powered by the Lemania manual-wind caliber 1872.

This Lemania Bullhead 9601 is an extremely rare and collectible wristwatch, especially considering the NOS condition.
