Description
This military diving watch was worn by the combat swimmers of the German Bundeswehr in the 80s and 90s. Today, the IWC Ocean Bund enjoys icon status - not only among combat swimmers, but also among vintage watch enthusiasts.

As you would expect from a professional diving watch, the IWC Ocean Bund also has a striking orange minute hand that served an essential function. This hand showed the diving time in minutes and had to be visible under water as good as possible. For safety reasons, the diver's bezel can only be rotated in one direction.

Here you see reference 3509 from the 1990s. The watch is preserved in worn condition, but completely original. The titanium bezel has few signs of wear and is slightly faded. This gives the watch an honest and authentic look. The black dial is flawless and has no spots, scratches or the like. The tritium lume is original.

This IWC Ocean Bund is accompanied by the following original accessories:
- black leather box,
- velcro strap (reference number: 6645-12-197-8310),
- titanium bracelet (reference number: 6645-12-197-8449)
- screwdriver to remove / adjust the bezel,
- a tool for changing the titanium bracelet links.

The watch is powered by the IWC hand-wound caliber 3752 with a hacking second and a quick-set date. We checked the watch very carefully. All functions are in perfect working order.
