The retro design of this Zenith El Primero A782 from the 1970s is a real eye-catcher. This vintage chronograph became one of the absolute vintage classics. Here we offer you the beloved execution with a turquoise dial.

A distinctive feature of this El Primero is the massive tonneau case, which contributes to the cool retro look of this watch. The case is not unworn and has natural signs of wear. The clearly visible serial number on the case back tell us that this watch was either never or very rarely polished.

The dial of the reference A782 has the large, overlapping sub-registers that are also known from the legendary Zenith reference A386. A special charm is created thanks to the color gradient from dark to light turquoise. The dial is absolutely perfect and flawlessly preserved.

Of course, this chronograph is powered by the legendary Zenith El Primero movement. The caliber 3019 PHC was one of the first automatic chronograph movements and is known for its durability and precision. In addition to the running seconds, 30-minute counter and 12-hour totalizer, this caliber has a quick set date. The date can be set immediately with the winding crown.

The watch is accompanied by the Zenith stainless steel bracelet in very good condition. The folding clasp is signed.

With 1,500 watches produced, the reference A782 is one of the rarest Zenith models. Even fewer are preserved in good condition, which makes this honest El Primero even more valuable.
