The manual wind Rolex Daytona has definitely earned its status as the most famous and sought-after chronograph ever made. Here we offer you a beautiful specimen of the Rolex Daytona 6265 from 1979. This watch features a Big Red reverse panda dial with black background and white sub-dials.

The chronograph was rarely worn and has few signs of usage for its age. The combination of a sharp case and a clean dial ensure a collectable condition. The Big Red dial is beautifully preserved. All lume dots have original tritium and remained intact until today.

A special thing about this watch is its Jubilee bracelet. Normally, the Daytona came with an Oyster bracelet in the 1970s. But the first owner of this Daytona wanted to wear his watch on a Jubilee bracelet. In our opinion, the Daytona looks beautiful with this Jubilee bracelet and we wanted to keep it in its completely original condition. The bracelet is in excellent condition and shows hardly any signs of wear.

At the heart of this timepiece sits the manual wind caliber Valjoux 727, which has been checked and provides accurate time keeping. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly.

Given the significant history of the manual-wind Daytona, timeless design and honest overall condition, this Daytona 6265 Big Red is a great addition to any vintage collection.
