Heuer Calculator 150.633 Blue Dial

striking design - rare 1970's chronograph

Description
The Heuer Calculator is a big striking chronograph from the 1970s. Heuer developed the Calculator for engineers who could read the results of various mathematical arithmetic operations with the help of this watch.

Here you can see the reference 150.633 with a sub-dial at 10 o'clock showing the small running seconds on a crosshair. The deep blue dial has orange hands and orange stripes in the minute counter providing a nice contrast. The Calculator offers a date window at 6 o'clock. The luminous material has a creamy color and is the original tritium from the 1970s.

The large 45mm stainless steel case has a fixed inner bezel and a rotating outer bezel. There are few natural signs of wear on the case. The bezels are immaculately preserved. The Calculator is powered by the Heuer automatic caliber 15, which is still running precisely today. The chronograph starts, stops and resets perfectly.

Although the Heuer Calculator appears a bit bulky and large at first glance, the chronograph looks very stylish on the wrist and is comfortable to wear. A great and rare vintage chronograph.
