Precimax Grand Prix 1005 NOS

NOS condition - fancy look - valjoux movement

The Precimax Grand Prix is a fancy racing chronograph from the 1970s. The watch is preserved in NOS condition and is powered by a Valjoux movement.

The blue dial has a white surface with two sub-dials on it. The running second at 9 and the chrono minute counter at 3. The first 15 minutes of the tachymeter scale are red, the rest is white. The hatched area in the middle of the dial is reminiscent of the checkered flag known from motorsport. The dial is absolutely flawless and shows no scratches, spots or any other flaws. The tritium lume in the hour markers is original and not repainted.

A special highlight of this Precimax is its stainless steel case. First of all, because of the large 41mm diameter. And secondly because of the four beveled surfaces, which give the watch an unusual and at the same time a harmonious appearance. The leftover of the original sales sticker can still be seen on the case back. This is an indication that this vintage watch was very rarely worn on the wrist. The case is unpolished, as indicated by the sharp edges and bevels.

The mechanics of this chronograph are also more than convincing. The manual-wound caliber Valjoux 7733 is known for its reliability and robustness. All functions of this Precimax have been checked and are in perfect running condition.

Overall, this Precimax Grand Prix 1005 is a beautiful, authentic vintage racing chronograph in NOS condition. In our opinion, that vintage watch is unbeatable in its price range.
