Description
Longines Diver Reference 7150-2 is a diving watch from the 1960s, which went down in history due to its design and the innovative technical development. During diving the Super Compressor case becomes more water resistant. The deeper the watch goes the more pressure is applied to the caseback, pressing it tighter against the case.

This particular Longines Diver with the Tropical dial is extremely rare and the most beautiful Diver specimen we have seen so far. "Cappuccino" dial with a beautiful patina leaves an unforgettable impression and is very popular with watch collectors. The original lume material was never repainted and the hands are still intact. The inscription "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock reveals the used luminous material - tritium. The rotating inner bezel is absolutely perfect. The case shows few, natural signs of wear and appears to be unpolished. Like most watches with a Super Compressor case, the Longines Diver has two crowns. The crown at 2 o'clock is used to rotate the inner bezel and the one at 4 o'clock is used to set the time. Both are in pristine condition and have the cross-hatching pattern which is typical of a Super Compressor watch. This vintage Diver is equipped with the Longines automatic caliber 290.

The watch is accompanied by the original and rare Longines vintage stainless steel bracelet that is preserved in great condition.

In summary: a legendary diving watch with an important history and a possibly unique tropical dial.
