Rolex 9578 Ultra Thin 18k Yellow Gold

rare early Rolex - 18k yellow gold case - excellent condition

Description
In terms of elegance, this old Rolex reference 9578 can hardly be surpassed. This super rare vintage wristwatch dates from 1959 and has an ultra-thin 18k yellow gold case.

The silver dial shows the words "Serpico y Laino" at 6 o'clock and hearkens back to a time where Rolex printed the names of the jewelers and retailers on the dials. With this particular watch, it is the famous Venezuelan retailer Serpico y Laino. The elegant dial has a brushed surface. A clear look is created due to the applied thin hour markers and delicate hands.

The rectangular yellow gold case is 26mm wide and 34mm long (from lug to lug). The thickness is 2.8mm. The ultra-thin case is super light and contributes to the elegance of this watch. The case back is screwed. All gold hallmarks on the case back are intact. The reference number and the serial number of the watch can be found on the inside of the case back cover. The heart of this watch is the Rolex manual-wound caliber 650. The watch is accompanied by the original 18k yellow gold Rolex buckle.

Overall, this Rolex 9578 is a first-class collector's watch that embodies elegance, rarity and prestige. The excellent condition makes it even rarer and more valuable.
