Description
This fantastic vintage chronograph is the Tudor Oysterdate 7149/0 from 1976 with a cool nickname: Monte-Carlo.

Starting in 1970 Tudor created some distinctive chronographs that are now among the most popular vintage wristwatches. As a child of the "seventies", this chronograph has the typical design features that reflect the euphoric mood of this era: massive case, bold shapes and bright colors.

The Tudor Oysterdate 7149 offered here has a charismatic dial with a gray base and two black sub-dials: small seconds at 9 o'clock and 45-minute counter at 3 o'clock. The chronograph second hand is orange. There are also orange accents in the chrono minute counter and on the inner minute scale with orange numbers on a black surface. Creamy luminous hour markers have original tritium. The dial is signed "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock. At 12 o'clock you can see a Tudor logo with the model name "TUDOR OYSTERDATE". The date window with magnifying glass is at 6 o'clock.

This Tudor Montecarlo has a black bakelite bezel with a tachymeter scale up to 500 units per hour. The stainless steel case is wonderfully preserved. Sharp lugs, intact surface finish and deep engravings are an indication that the case is unpolished. The winding crown and the chrono pushers are screwed. The Tudor is powered by the manual-wound caliber Valjoux 234, which operates perfectly keeping very good time.

The watch is accompanied by a wide leather cuff strap, which creates a wonderful vintage flair on the wrist.
