The popularity of the legendary Rolex GMT Master is increasing continuously. We are proud to present you this highly attractive example of the reference 16700 from 1996 with a faded bezel and a full set.

This Rolex GMT Master owes its unique look to the remarkable bezel colors. The red half of the rotating bezel has faded to a light pink color. While this phenomenon is more familiar with vintage specimens from the 70s and 80s, the faded bezels on youngtimers from the 1990s are quite rare.

Another special feature of this example is the unpolished Oyster case with sharp lugs and hardly any signs of wear - a dream condition for every discerning vintage collector. The black dial is immaculately preserved and has original tritium luminous material in the Mercedes hand set and white gold bordered hour markers. The Rolex automatic GMT caliber 3175 delivers excellent values on the timing machine. The watch comes with the original Rolex Oyster bracelet with numbers that perfectly match the year of manufacture: bracelet reference 78360, end links 501B, clasp code V9 (1996).

Finally this GMT deserves its status as a valuable collector's item due to the original full set. This watch was sold in Venezuela. The chronometer certificate is punched with the serial number T549xxx and the correct country code 770 (Venezuela). The full set also includes: green presentation box, outer box, brochures, Rolex calendar, green guarantee holder and guarantee translation.
