The Favre Leuba Deep Blue 59863 is a vintage beauty from the 1970s with an extraordinary and colorful dial design.

Favre-Leuba has a long history that started in 1737. The manufactory is known for its precise timepieces, which were developed for researchers, scientists and athletes.

The Favre Leuba Deep Blue 59863 offered here is a professional diving watch from the 1970s. It has a rotating bakelite bezel, which is also known as the roulette bezel thanks to its black and white pattern and red numbers. The base color of the dial is a beautiful ocean blue, which is perfectly preserved. A special highlight is the minute hand with its unique tip. The hands and hour markers contain beautifully aged tritium lume. With UV light, we were able to prove that the tritium is original and was never repainted. The central second hand is red. The date is displayed in the red-bordered window at 6 o'clock. The hour markers are connected by a white ring with second markers.

The Favre Leuba Deep Blue is powered by the in-house self-winding movement. The automatic caliber FL1153 is in perfect working order and provides accurate time keeping. The big winding crown is original and bears the Favre Leuba logo. The screwed case back has sharp engravings that indicate an unpolished or slightly polished case. The stainless steel case measures 40mm and sits very nicely on the wrist.

Overall, the Deep Blue is a very cool diver of the colorful 70s era. The great overall condition of the watch would satisfy any discerning vintage collector.
