Breitling Navitimer 816-72

striking look - Valjoux 72 - 48mm case

Description
This late 60s Breitling Navitimer 816-72 is powered by the Valjoux 72 movement and is preserved in excellent condition.

Before Breitling presented its famous automatic chronograph (Chronomatic) in 1969, Breitling chronographs were equipped with manual-wound calibers from Venus and Valjoux. This particular Navitimer is powered by the famous and legendary Valjoux 72 movement, which still operates perfectly today and ensures precise timekeeping.

The Navitimer has a striking look thanks to its large 48mm case and the super nice and complicated dial. Three white sub-registers on a black surface, orange hands and long tritium hour markers create a unique look. The watch has a rotating bezel.

The large stainless steel case has sharp edges and hardly any signs of wear. The engravings on the case back are clearly legible. The winding crown is signed with the Breitling logo.

Hardly any other watch looks so striking on the wrist as this Breitling Navitimer 816-72. Excellent condition, legendary movement and rarity make this wonderful vintage chronograph extremely valuable.
