This 1970s Heuer Autavia 11630 has a sporty killer look thanks to its black-in-black design.

The automatic Autavia with the reference 11630 was the direct successor to the reference 1163. The main difference between these two references is the watch crystal. With the reference 11630 the Autavia became a mineral crystal instead of an acrylic crystal. That creates a flatter look compared to the domed plexiglass of the reference 1163.

This particular Autavia has a black dial with slightly lighter sub-dials. The orange accents in the hands and in the 30-minute counter provide a nice contrast. The 12-hour counter at 9 o'clock shows numbers from 1 to 12. The rotating bezel is also black and has a tachymeter scale up to 400 units per hour. Overall, the chronograph has a stylish, sporty appearance.

The great condition of this Heuer Autavia makes it a valuable collector's item. The dial is immaculately preserved. the stainless steel case has still its thick profile.
