Description
This old Universal Genève Uni-Compax is a vintage chronograph from the 1930s. Considering the high age of 80 years, it is absolutely astonishing how well this watch has been preserved.

The silver-colored dial has a warm patina and is absolutely authentic. The hour markers, the hour and minute hands are gold-plated. The chronograph has two sunken sub-dials with inner circles: running seconds at 9 o'clock and a 45-minute counter at 3 o'clock. Blue tachymeter and red telemeter scales are attached to the edge of the dial. The chrono seconds hand and the hands in the sub-dials have a blue metallic color, which looks lighter or darker depending on the viewing angle.

The case of the Uni-Compax is made of stainless steel and measures approx. 35mm in diameter. A special feature are the exotic flexible lugs. This Uni-Compax has squared shape pushers, which are typical for chronographs from the 30s and 40s. Overall, the watch offers a classic vintage look.

The Uni-Compax is powered by the Universal Genève Chronograph caliber 285. The movement operates reliably keeping good time. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly.

The preserved condition of this Univesal Genève Uni-Compax makes it extremely rare and valuable. A wonderful collector's piece for any vintage lover.
