Description
This Le Jour Panda Chronograph is a cool vintage timepiece from the 70s that was definitely ahead of its time.

The chronograph owes its beautiful retro design to the pillow-shaped stainless steel case and the high-contrast panda dial. The sub-register with the minute counter at 3 o'clock is larger than the sub-dial with the small seconds at 9 o'clock, which is why the name "Big Eye" is often used. The watch also has a tachymeter scale up to 1000 units per hour.

The overall condition of the chronograph is excellent. The case is unpolished and has hardly any scratches. The dial is greatly preserved. The tritium luminous material is original everywhere. All engravings on the case back are intact and clearly legible. The watch is powered by the Ollech & Wajs manual-wound movement, which operates reliably and precisely. The chronograph starts, stops and resets perfectly.

This Le Jour Chronograph is one of the rare vintage watches that has a popular configuration of panda dial and stainless steel case and is relatively inexpensive at the same time. A really fun watch not only to wear but also to collect.
