We are very proud to offer you this rare Heuer Carrera Dato 3147N MK1 with black dial and red date disc.
In 1963, Heuer presented the Carrera chronograph, which was closely associated with motorsport of the 60s. The first-generation models are rarer than their successors. The beloved manual-wind Carreras are characterized by their elegant proportions, a 36 mm steel case with balanced and easy-to-read dials.
Here you can see a stunning Carrera Dato in its first execution with a black dial and red date display. This watch was the first chronograph with a date function. Today, the MK1 Carrera Dato is one of the most sought-after chronographs among vintage collectors.
The excellent condition of this specimen additionally contributes to its collectability. The stainless steel case is unpolished and the dial is beautifully preserved without any notable flaws. The red date on the black dial provides a unique contrast. The tritium lume in all elements is original and intact. The watch is powered by the manual-wound caliber Landeron 189. The movement operates accurately and reliably.
Another rare feature of this watch is the original Gay Frères bracelet from 1969. Some of these stainless steel bracelets are rarer than the watches they accompany. The clasp is signed with the Heuer logo. The bracelet wears very comfortable on the wrist.
This sporty, elegant Carrera is ideal for almost any occasion. Whether in the office or outside: it is a reliable companion on the wrist. And of course, thanks to its rarity and excellent condition, this Carrera is a premium vintage collector's watch.
