Tissot Navigator Worldtimer 4002-1

rotating inner disc - second time zone

Description
This is a rare vintage world time watch from the 1950s: The Tissot Navigator Worldtimer reference 4002-1.

The watch has an unusual dial with a rotating inner disc showing 24 cities. Each city represents a time zone. With the pusher at 2 o'clock, the city disc can be rotated independently of the time. This allows an additional time zone to be read off the gold-colored 24-hour ring. The dial is signed "SWISS MADE" at 6 o'clock.

This Tissot is a valuable collector's item due to its great authentic condition. The dial has a beautiful and honest patina and is free of scratches. The 36mm stainless steel case is in very good condition and has only a few natural signs of wear. The case back is screwed. The Tissot is powered by the automatic caliber 28.5 N-21, which is functioning flawlessly.

This vintage Tissot is an unusual and high quality world time watch in honest authentic condition.
