This manual wind Heuer Autavia 73663 "Siffert Color" panda dial with Valjoux 7736 movement and an original stainless steel Gay Frères bracelet is a wonderful collector's item.

The first Autavia chronographs from the 1960s had manual wind movements. From 1969 Heuer produced mainly watches with the new caliber 11. These automatic chronographs had 2 sub-dials (small second and minute recorder). However, the 3 sub-dials with the additional hour recorder were still very popular. That was one of the reasons why Heuer continued to produce the manual wind chronographs. However, compared to the automatic watches, the production volume of the hand-wound chronographs after 1969 was very low, making them a rare model today after more than 45 years.

This particular Heuer Autavia 73663 from 1973 is one of these watches. It has a beautiful panda dial. Due to the color similarity to the famous "Jo Siffert" model, the Autavias with such a color combination are also called "Siffert-Color". The well-preserved condition makes this watch very special. The panda dial is very clean and immaculate. If you take a closer look at the sub-dials, you can see that the original black color has evolved to a delicate dark brownish hue. This watch has a great potential to become a tropical dial. The tritium material in the hour markers and hands has aged evenly to a beautiful beige. The blue chrono hand and the matching blue lines behind the hour markers emphasize the sophisticated design of this watch. The black rotatable bezel with hour and minute markers is in great condition. The case appears in a way many collectors love to have: it has natural traces of wear, but is still unpolished. The manual-wind movement Valjoux 7736 runs strong in all functions.

Last but not least the original Gay Frères bracelet from the 4th quarter of 1971 with the Heuer logo on the clasp is a real eye-catcher. These bracelets are just beautiful and a rarity these days. The stainless steel bracelet is in great condition.
