Rolex Submariner 5513 Warm Patina

maxi II dial - stunning patina - fantastic overall condition

Description
The warm patina in the lume of this Rolex Submariner 5513 Maxi Dial is just impressive.

The Rolex Submariner is arguably the most famous diving watch in the world. The Submariner earns its high reputation among vintage collectors thanks to its history as a professional diving watch that was also suitable for everyday use. It was the flagship model for many diving watches made by other manufacturers.

Here you can see a Rolex Submariner 5513 Maxi Dial from 1978. The term maxi dial refers to the larger tritium plots compared to the previous versions of the 5513. Within the maxi dial family there are 5 different versions. This particular specimen meets all the criteria of the Maxi II version. This was the first time that "SUBMARINER" would be printed above the depth rating in a matte dial.

The great peculiarity of this classic no-date Submariner is its condition and the warm appearance thanks to the brownish tritium. The lume color is absolutely identical in the hour markers and hands giving the watch a really impressive and unique vintage look. The Oyster case has sharp lugs and a thick profile. The black matt surface of the dial is clean and has no flaws. The rotatable bezel is in very good condition and has only a few signs of wear between 2 and 3 o'clock. The pearl at 12 o'clock is intact. The Rolex 1520 movement operates flawlessly. The watch is accompanied by an original Rolex Oyster bracelet in excellent condition.

This Rolex Submariner 5513 has a unique warm appearance and is a pleasure to wear every day. Compliments are guaranteed!
