Tudor Submariner 9411/0 Snowflake

faded blue bezel - perfect blue dial - great condition

Description
This charming Snowflake Tudor Submariner dates from 1977 and has an attractive look thanks to its blue dial and faded bezel.

The nickname "Snowflake" is due to the snowflake shape of the hour hand. The diamond shape of the seconds hand is also associated with the term "snowflake". The first Snowflake Submariner was introduced in 1969. The previous versions had the Rolex Mercedes hands. Thus, the Snowflake handset was a first step towards the independent design of Tudor watches. Around 50 years later, this design feature is still used for Tudor's Black Bay models.

Here you can see an enchanting example of a Tudor Submariner Snowflake 9411/0 from 1977. The blue version is more popular with collectors than the black one, because you won't find a blue dial in combination with a blue bezel on vintage Rolex watches making this Tudor even more exclusive.

The special feature of this particular example is its excellent condition and the unusual harmonious blue color of the faded bezel. The case has sharp lugs. One looks in vain for scratches, stains or other flaws on the blue dial: it is absolutely clean. The large rectangular indices, which are filled with original tritium, contribute to good legibility. The tritium inside the hands is original too. The automatic caliber 2784 features a quickset date and a hacking-seconds function. The time is set by a Rolex Triplock crown. The stainless steel Oyster bracelet is original to the watch and is preserved in great condition.

Absolutely stunning looks combined with rarity make this Tudor Submariner a very valuable vintage collector's watch.
