Description
This is an iconic chronograph from 1986: The Rolex Daytona 6265 with screwed chrono pushers, panda dial and stainless steel bezel.

The modern, sporty design with a large tachymeter bezel underlines Daytona's affiliation with racing, which was becoming increasingly popular in the 1960s. The chronograph was named after the racetrack in Daytona Beach, Florida. Current Daytona models have long waiting lists, while vintage manual-wound Daytonas are main attractions at watch auctions and are considered the icons of all chronographs.

This example from 1986 has a Big Red dial. The name refers to the distinctive red "DAYTONA" writing above the 12-hour totalizer. The screwed pushers and crown ensure the water resistance of the watch.

The Daytona is accompanied by original accessories. According to the Rolex warranty, the watch was sold in Scotland on 05/02/1986. A presentation box, leather card holder and the warranty translation are also present.

Bracelet: Oyster stainless steel bracelet reference 78350, end links 571, clasp code L8 (1987), all numbers match the year of manufacture of the watch, excellent condition, hardly any stretch.
