This striking 90's chronograph is the Tudor Prince Date 79280 with a beautiful panda ivory dial and original papers.
This chronograph was one of the first Tudor watches without a "Oyster" on the dial. It was the time when Tudor became an independent brand. From 1997, the dial was signed with "PRINCE DATE", the case back had Tudor engravings and the stainless steel bracelet was equipped with Tudor logos.
The reference 79280 featured the model with a steel bezel and a stainless steel tachymeter scale. This 1998 example has a beautiful panda ivory dial with black sub-dials. The heart of the chronograph is the reliable Valjoux caliber 7750.
This Tudor Prince Date qualifies as a collector's item due to the original guarantee papers with the country code 170 (Italy). The watch was sold in Milan on April 15, 1998.
